Visiting the Powerhouse Discovery Centre
There are two ways to visit the Powerhouse Discovery Centre:

Disability access
All stores, including the Display Store, are accessible to visitors with a disability, except upstairs in one building. Disabled toilet facilities are located in the Display Store.
There is dedicated disabled parking near the entrance to the Display Store, which is available to the public by prior arrangement.
The Powerhouse Discovery Centre is an Affiliate of the NSW Government's Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care's Companion Card program. This means that carers who accompany a person with a disability will be eligible for free entry on presentation of their Companion Card. For more information visit www.companioncard.com.au

Getting here
The Powerhouse Discovery Centre is located on the corner of Windsor and Showground Roads in Castle Hill. Please note that there are currently two entries to access the Powerhouse Discovery Centre.
Entry: Tuesday—Friday
From Tuesday—Friday, there are two entries to access the Powerhouse Discovery Centre: via the TAFE driveway on Green Road, or via the Powerhouse Discovery Centre’s driveway on Showground Road. The entry that suits you better will depend on the direction that you approach from. Please see the map below for details.

On Saturdays (monthly open days), there are two entries to access the Powerhouse Discovery Centre: via the Powerhouse Discovery Centre’s driveway on Showground Road, or via the Powerhouse Discovery Centre’s Windsor Road gates on Windsor Road. Please see the map below for details.

Visitor parking is available on site. Bus and coach parking available by prior arrangement.
Public transport
From the city:
-Hillsbus Route 610 to the corner of Green and Showground Roads (7 days a week).
-Hillsbus Route 615 to Windsor and Showground Roads (peak hours only).
From Parramatta:
Cityrail to Parramatta Station then transfer to:
-Hillsbus Route 601 to the corner of Green and Showground Roads, Castle Hill (7 days a week).
-Hillsbus Route T62 to the corner of Windsor and Showground Roads, Castle Hill (7 days a week).
-Indirect Hillsbus Route 606 via Winston Hills/Crestwood to the corner of Windsor and Showground Roads, Castle Hill (7 days a week).
From Blacktown:
Cityrail to Blacktown Station then transfer to:
-Busways Route T71 to Green Road, Castle Hill.
From Castle Hill:
-Hillsbus Route 606 to the corner of Green and Showground Roads (7 days a week).
